Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you use?

Each piece is individually hand crafted from mason stained porcelain. They are then carved and

painted with under-glaze. The kiln fired pieces are finished with china paints and luster,

before being fired a second or even third time. The hardware is hand hammered niobium wire,

or titanium posts, both hypoallergenic materials.

Can I place a custom order?

Please email me with inquires on the contact page.

What happens if one breaks?

You can use a two-part epoxy, follow the directions on the packaging and your piece should be as good as new. I cannot repair it for you.

You can also order a replacement from my “singles” section. It will not match but I love wearing mismatched earrings!

(I cannot remake them for you.)

Care Instructions:

Porcelain is delicate and must be handled with care. Pieces should not be worn to bed,

shower or in chlorinated water to avoid damage.

Pieces with gold and luster should be treated like fine china. Because gold is a soft metal,

and only a thin layer is painted on the ceramic, care must be taken to preserve the life of the

gold. Avoid contact with abrasive materials or chemicals.

To clean: gently polish with a soft jewelry cloth. Do not scrub.
