Animal and Mineral jewelry features clean-lined, finely detailed porcelain earrings and pendant necklaces with hand-carved facets. Each piece is handmade from porcelain and carefully finished with glaze, china paint, and gold luster. Because they are handmade, no two are precisely alike. All earring wires are hypoallergenic and made of niobium, a type of titanium that is the best for sensitive ears.

The story behind the collection:
My jewelry began with the shape of plyometric cones, elongated pyramid-shaped tools that ceramicists use to measure heat and time in a kiln firing. I wanted to transform that utilitarian object into something more artful and fun. I was also inspired by the idea that we have cones, or cells, in our eyes that help us to see color. Thus the exuberant colors and geometric shapes of my porcelain jewelry came to life.
